Towering peaks, hanging glaciers, gnarled and cracked like rhinoceros
hide. This is the backdrop for the riverbank tapestry of indigo conifers and
autumn aspen smoldering in the morning mist. It's a primeval place where grizzly
bear and wolves still leave their tracks in the sandbars at night. Here eagles
are joined by man for the ageless event known as "the Steelhead run."
The Bulkley River is considered by many experts to be one of the premier rivers in the world and its dry fly Steelhead fishery, the finest in North America.
