Carved out of the mountain slopes at the base of Blackcomb, the Chateau Whistler Golf
Club is the epitome of golf in the mountains. With an elevation gain of more than
400 feet, this par 72 course traverses mountain ledges and crosses rushing streams.
Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., nature was allowed to dictate the layout of the
Chateau Whistler Golf Course. Creeks, ponds, and granite faces are testimony to the fact
that this stunning course closely follows the surrounding area's natural terrain. Although
nature placed a role in the layout of the course, modern technology will help your game.
At the Chateau Whistler Golf Club golfers can now enjoy the complimentary ProShot Satellite Yardage System, a computer-aided satellite caddy on board every cart. This new technology is designed to benefit golfers by providing scrolling information including yardage from the cart to the middle of the green, distance to and over hazards and basic information previously supplied by a caddie. The information given is accurate within one yard, and not only helps the golfer make good decisions, but also increases the rate of play as it eliminates the need to search for yardage markers.
