Here
at the top of BC's Queen Charlotte Islands,
you're on the migratory path of all five species of Pacific
Salmon, including mighty Chinook (Kings) and feisty Coho
(Silvers), plus trophy sized Pacific Halibut and Cod.
Mere minutes by boat and you 're reeling 100 lb. halibut
and true Tyee - 30 lb. plus King Salmon - from May to
mid September.
This is one of the West Coast's most remote hideouts for hard-core anglers. Unlike many other remote locales, this area has remained off limits to most, not because of laws, but rather, because of its lack of roads and its location.
Because this area combines the unique features of the Continental Shelf's deep waters and the rugged coastline and varied bottom topography, the Outpost offers some of the best opportunities for Chinook, Coho, Chum and Pink Salmon.
