Your JourneyMakers Host will meet you Friday at Vancouver International Airport, take care of your luggage and set up your self-drive transportation. Before you set off on your adventure, you will receive detailed instructions for your scenic drive to Whistler Resort (approx 2.5 hours).
You will be traveling to Whistler via the Sea to Sky Highway through spectacular Howe Sound, to your accommodation at the Pan Pacific Lodge. This elegant European style hotel is located in the heart of the Resort within walking distance of most amenities.
Once you have checked in to your deluxe 1 bedroom suite (complete with fireplace, cooking & dining facilities) our representative will give you an orientation of Whistler and its awesome range of facilities. Many of Whistler’s renowned restaurants are less than 10 minutes walk from your accommodation.
2 tee times will have been booked each day, based on your selection of courses. Following play, there will be plenty of time to sample some of the many activities available. Your JourneyMakers Host can help you with choices, and set up reservations each day while you’re out golfing.
On Day Four you travel to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Once again a rental car will be waiting along with detailed instructions to Cowichan Bay (45 minutes). You’ll stay right on the water and within 10 minutes walk of several very nice restaurants. Your accommodations have cooking facilities if you choose to eat in.
Our fishing guide will pick you up at the crack of dawn each day for bar and drift fishing for Salmon on the Cowichan River. If conditions are favorable, a special treat is a trip to the Nitinat River where larger Salmon runs can be found. By mid-afternoon you’re back at the Guest House. Your hosts Gerry and Bill are delighted to make up excursions.
On your return to Vancouver you will stay at the deluxe Delta Airport Inn, a 15 minute shuttle ride to and from the airport where you catch your return flight the next day.
Your package cost of $4495 per person includes your rental car, all accommodation, return flights to Vancouver Island, green fees and power carts, guided fishing, all fishing equipment and your freshwater fishing licenses.
Deposit details: A $1000 deposit is required to confirm your booking and full payment is required 75 days prior to your trip date.
